Lakers Beat Knicks Again; Win 109 to 87

The Knicks went into Los Angeles on a three game winning streak. They faced a tough Lakers team who were struggling, but have started to win again. This was a tough and physical game that saw Andrew Bynum get ejected at the start of the 4th quarter. The Lakers led most of the game, but in the 3rd they extended their lead until the Knicks were forced to pull their starters. Kobe Bryant started off slow, but he was able to put together a nice scoring run to end the game with 27 points, and 10 rebounds. The Lakers took over the game with their great rebounding and inside scoring. The Lakers outrebounded the Knicks 61 to 42 and dominated the game with their great second chance points. Pau Gasol had a great game with 20 points and 14 rebounds. He is a real dominate force for the Lakers and a reason why they are champions. Then their was Lamar Odom who played great scoring 13 points and grabbing 18 rebounds. He is a great person to have on a team because he can do so many things. He is a great defensive player and knows how to box his man out.

The Knicks started off great and then they slowly fell off in the 3rd quarter. Amar'e Stoudemire had a nice game scoring 23 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and blocking 6 shots. He really struggled early, but was able to score in the second half to avoid a terrible performance. He really looked bad in the first half and everything seemed very off about him. He was able to turn his game around in the second half to make him look better. Wilson Chandler scored 19 points and recorded 3 blocks. He really struggled in the second half along with the rest of the team. The Knicks were over matched and were too small for the Lakers. This was a tough game for the Knicks because they couldn’t stop the Lakers big men, The Knicks will play the Portland Trailblazers on Tuesday January 11th.
