Monday’s NBA News and Top Performers

NBA News:

  • Danilo Gallinari returned to the Knicks lineup after missing the last six games with a sprained knee.
  • Bulls guard Derrick Rose recorded his first career triple-double with 22 points, 12 assist, and 10 rebounds. Also, Carlos Boozer did not play due to a sprained right ankle.
  • Bobcats forward Boris Diaw recorded a triple-double with 25 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assist in a overtime lost to the Philadelphia 76ers.
  • Amar'e Stoudemire scored a season-high 41 points in a lost to the Suns.
  • Blake Griffin scored a career-high 47 points and 14 rebounds in a win over the Indiana Pacers. This is the most points anyone has scored in the NBA this season.
  • Hawks guard Joe Johnson scored a season-high 36 points and 6 assist in a win over the Sacramento Kings.
  • Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics returned to action after missing the last 9 games with a calf injury.
