Spurs Win 17th Straight at Home; 101 to 92

The Knicks visited the red hot Spurs in San Antonio. The Spurs have caught many by surprise with their excellent play. On Friday the Spurs were led by Tim Duncan who played very well. He scored 21 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, dished out 8 assists, and rejected 5 shots. The Spurs are very dangerous when Duncan is playing well. He has been limited in his minutes thus far, but he plays well when he is on the court. The Spurs have had their best start in franchise history recording a 37-6 record half way through the season. Tony Parker was brilliant as he scored 21 points and passed out 13 assist. He is a underrated point guard who should be considered an all-star. He is having a great season and is leading the Spurs to a great season. Manu Ginobili scored 16 points and dished 6 assists.

For the Knicks they had a great game out of Raymond Felton, who scored 23 points and dished out 7 assist. Amar'e Stoudemire scored 18 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. Wilson Chandler was held to 6 points on 3 of 10 from the field. The Knicks are really struggling right now and from the looks of things the Carmelo Anthony trade rumors may be distracting the Knicks players, but they still have to do their jobs. The Knicks will take on the Oaklahoma City Thunder on Saturday. The Knicks will try to snap their losing streak and put an end to the terrible play.
