76ers hold on to beat the Knicks 100 to 98

The Knicks were excited to have Wilson Chandler back in the lineup after missing the last three games with a calf injury. The Knicks took on a really hot 76ers team in Philadelphia. This game was very exciting with both teams making great runs. The 76ers came out scoring and went up by 14 at the end of the 1st quarter.  The Knicks led for most of the game, but in the 4th quarter the 76ers went on an amazing run to win the game. The Knicks did lose Ronny Turiaf midway through the 4th quarter to a right ankle sprain. Shawne Williams missed an opportunity to win game as he missed a lay up. The 76ers were happy to see Elton Brand score 33 points and grab 17 rebounds. Brand scored 19 points in the first quarter and was very important down the stretch for the 76ers. He really gave the 76ers an edge with his great scoring. The 76ers also had a great game out of Andre Iguodala who scored 18 points and dished out 16 assist. He struggled early, but late in the game hit some key shots to seal the win for the 76ers.

The Knicks really had a great game out of Raymond Felton who scored 26 points and had 9 assist. He really had a breakout game after having a cold streak. The Knicks really need his production every night and on Friday he was able to score easily. The Knicks also had a great game out of Amar'e Stoudemire who scored 21 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He struggled to hold on to the ball as the 76ers were able to force him to lose the ball. The Knicks really have to find out what is wrong and fix it, They are slowly losing momentum and are in danger of losing there spot in the playoff race. The Knicks will play the 76ers on Sunday at 12:00 PM at Madison Square Garden.
