Clippers Beat the Knicks 116 to 108

The Clippers came out to play as they blew the Knicks out in the third quarter and went up by 20 points. The Knicks would make a huge comeback as they came within three points, but the Clippers were able to get a great game out of their entire team. The play of Randy Foye really hurt the Knicks late in the game as he scored 17 fourth quarter points. He hit some clutch baskets to keep the Clippers afloat. Foye scored 24 points to beat the Knicks. Blake Griffin scored 21 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in his Garden debut, He really played a team oriented game by taking good shots and passing the ball. He is a great young player the Clippers can build around. The Clippers have found a star in the league who can give you highlight plays. The Clippers had 6 players score in double figures and that is another reason why they won the game. This is only the Clippers 4th road win of the season, but they looked great late in the game.

The Knicks were lost in the 2nd quarter and only scored 18 points. That really hurt them late in the game because they had to climb back from a huge deficit. Amar'e Stoudemire had a bad game on the defensive end as he committed 4 fouls and had to play in limited minutes, Stoudemire did score 23 points and grab 5 rebounds. The Knicks were booed and chants of “We want Melo!” broke out. The Knicks looked lost at times and they couldn’t find ways to score the ball. This was an awful game for the Knicks because this was an opportunity to win against a sub .500 team. The Knicks did have a great game from Timofey Mozgov who scored 18 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. He is really starting to look comfortable out their for the team. The more he plays the better he will become and I hope the Knicks continue to give him some minutes. The Lakers will visit Madison Square Garden on Friday in their lone visit to the Garden. This will be a great game for the Knicks to beat one of the NBA’s elite teams in the league.
