The New York Knicks went to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers. The Cavaliers won the last matchup against the Knicks before they went on a 26-game losing streak. The ability of J.J. Hickson was amazing because he was all over the court with his hustle and excellent defense. He scored 24 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, and blocked 5 shots. He is a real young and athletic forward who can get to the basket with the best of them. He can really be a nice addition to any team because he does the things the team absolutely needs. Antawn Jamison had a real nice game as he scored 28 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. He continues to produce for this team and is doing his hardest to get his team the win. When he is healthy he can really be a handful to defend. Ramon Sessions chipped in with 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists.
The Knicks were up most of the game, but the lack of defense and rebounding really hurt them. Amar'e Stoudemire did really well late in the game to score 31 points, grab 11 rebounds, and block 5 shots. He was struggling early, but every superstar knows how to get points and he is a pro at that. Carmelo Anthony scored 27 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He also fouled out for the first time as a Knick. He played well in the first half, but in the second half he went cold. The Knicks were on the comeback trail after trailing behind by 12 points. Chauncey Billups led the Knicks back as he scored 26 points and dished out 8 assists. The Knicks will play the Miami Heat on Sunday at 8:00 PM in Miami, Florida.
