The New York Knicks are hitting a favorable part in their schedule. The Knicks will face the Nets (twice), Cavaliers, Raptors, and the Pacers. The Knicks have struggled as of late against the lower tier teams, but now you have to wonder if the Knicks have their confidence back. The game tonight is a game that will make the Magic win that more sweeter because you beat a top team and then you beat a lower team. The only games that the Knicks will really have to make sure they try to win are the games against the Sixers, Bulls, and Celtics. The more important game is the one against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Sixers are currently 6th in the Eastern Conference and are ahead of the Knicks by 2.0 games. If the Knicks can beat the Sixers they can possibly get closer to the 6th spot.
The Knicks despite the recent trouble are still in great position to hold onto the 7th spot. They can possibly get the 6th spot if the Sixers struggle. But you still have to watch the Hawks who are slumping and have a tough road ahead. Joe Johnson can possibly be out for a while and without him they may fall to a lower seed. The Knicks need to stay focused and take each game like it is their last. If they do that they will definitely be in the playoffs.
