Knicks blow out Jazz; Win 131-109

The New York Knicks took on the Utah Jazz at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks were without Chauncey Billups, Bill Walker, and Ronny Turiaf yet again. They would not need them in this game as the Knicks would go up by 31 points to win big over the Jazz. The two Knicks superstars performed great. Carmelo Anthony played an efficient game as he scored 34 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, and dished out 5 assists in 29 minutes. He really shot the ball really well as he attempted 16 shots and made 12 of them. This was his first big game for the Knicks scoring wise and because of the short time he did it. Then there was Amar’e Stoudemire who scored  31 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. He only played 24 minutes and scored with ease. He scored every time the Knicks needed a score. The Knicks can look to build off their performance because everyone played and helped in the win. Toney Douglas scored 20 points and dished out 6 assists. He is becoming more consistent in the absent of Chauncey Billups. The Knicks had 11 of their 12 players score in this game. This was an impressive win against a tough team. The Jazz are not the same team, but a win is a win.

The Jazz had an excellent performance out of Al Jefferson, who scored 36 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. He is a great force to have on your team because he can get to the hoop. He scored easily over the Knicks defense and also made a living in getting inside the Knicks defense. Derrick Favors had an excellent game off the bench for the Jazz as he scored 16 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He is a real young player who has the potential to become a great player in the NBA. The Jazz looked real flat in this game as they let the Knicks score easily with their terrible defense. The Knicks will go on the road to face the Memphis Grizzles on Wednesday night.
