Knicks fall to Pacers 106-93

The New York Knicks faced the slumping Indiana Pacers at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks came out flat and looked lost on both ends of the floor. The Pacers saw that the Knicks were not going to make an effort and took the game right out of their hands. The last two games the Knicks just looked lost and never wanted to win. This lost came because of the lack of defensive pressure. They also weren’t able to stop the ball and apply ball pressure. The Pacers were without forward Danny Granger who missed the game due to the flu. His teammate Tyler Hansbrough had a career game as he scored 29 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in his team’s win. He played great and took advantage of the terrible Knick defense. He really shot the ball well as he hit open jumpers and drove the ball to get to the line. Darren Collison had a nice game as he scored 16 points and dished out 8 assists. He played well getting his teammates involved and getting to the basket. He is a nice young player to have on a team because he can get to the basket and find his teammates. The Pacers as a team tore the Knicks apart and they stopped any Knick from getting hot.

The Knicks had their two star players going as Amar'e Stoudemire scored 28 points and Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points. Both players had it going, but they couldn’t get their teammates involved. The team struggled with foul woes and lack of defensive pressure. The Knicks didn’t try hard to get this win and it looks as if they are going to fall to the 7th spot if they are not careful. The Knicks as a team shot only 36.6% from the field. The Knicks will play the Pacers on Tuesday in Indiana and are looking to some how get back to winning again.
