Knicks lose 99-95 to the Pistons

The Knicks went to Detroit to play the Pistons. The Knicks were coming off a win over the Grizzles. This was a game the Knicks wanted to win because the Pistons are a terrible team. Instead the Knicks poor defense and poor rebounding was key to their lost. The Pistons were without Richard Hamilton and were able to beat the Knicks. The Knicks went up by 11 points, but couldn’t hold off the Pistons. Tayshaun Prince scored 16 points to lead the team. He played an excellent game as he took the right shots and played great defense. The Pistons had a great game from their bench who won the game for the Pistons. Charlie Villanueva scored 14 points including 4 three pointers. He played great tonight and shot the ball great. Every single Piston that played scored in the game. The Pistons won the game because they played as a team and late in the game played great defense.

Carmelo Anthony didn’t have a great game as he scored 6 points which is his lowest scoring output as a Knick. Amar'e Stoudemire scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. He played great defense and shot the ball very well. Toney Douglas scored 20 points, dished out 11 assists, and grabbed 7 rebounds. He is playing really well right now and is hot from the field. Shawne Williams scored 17 points off the bench. The Knicks had a great game out of their bench, but the starters struggled. The Knicks will play the Bucks Sunday.
