Knicks lose sixth straight game

The Knicks went to Charlotte, North Carolina to face the Bobcats. The Bobcats and Knicks exchange the lead all through the first quarter. But in the second quarter the Knicks fell down by double-digits. The Bobcats hit baskets when they needed and held off a late Knicks rally. The Knicks were able to comeback to get within four after trailing by 20 points in the third quarter. Boris Diaw scored a team-high 20 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and dished out 5 assists. He had an excellent all-around game. Stephen Jackson scored 19 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He played great late in the game and he hit some key shots to put his team in position to win. The Bobcats had 7 guys in double figures.

The Knicks saw a great game out of Carmelo Anthony who scored a new Knick high with 36 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. He played great down the stretch and hit some big shots to keep the Knicks within striking distance. The worst part of the was the game of Amar'e Stoudemire who only scored 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. He really struggled to get his game going. Stoudemire only attempted 13 shots which is a season low. Stoudemire seems to be passing up a lot of his shots and making it hard for him to get in the game. His game is struggling on both ends of the floor. The Knicks do not have it any easier as they will take on the Orlando Magic Monday night at Madison Square Garden.
