Magic beat Knicks 111-99

The Orlando Magic came into Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Knicks. The Knicks are really struggling right now to form on both ends of the court. The key is to just get everyone on the same page. The Knicks came out flat and fell behind by 10 points. The problem was just being able to hit shots. The Knicks would comeback and take the lead. Dwight Howard had a monster game as he scored 33 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. He just dominated the post and made scoring look easy. He is playing at a high level for the Magic and has been a consistent force for them down low. Jameer Nelson had a great game as he scored 19 points and dished out 4 assists. He played a great under control game for the Magic. Hedo Turkoglu had a nice game as he scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. He is having a better season with the Magic and is providing some scoring and passing to the team. The Magic are going to be a tough team to knock out of the playoffs because they can score in so many ways.

The Knicks were in control, but a cold second half sent them on the losing end of this one. Carmelo Anthony scored 24 points, dished out 9 assists, and grabbed 5 rebounds. He was the only threat the Knicks had on the night because he dominated driving to the basket.  Amar'e Stoudemire had a tough night as he only scored 13 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. He really hurt the Knicks late in the game as he wasn’t looking to score and when he would he was just cold. Chauncey Billups and Toney Douglas both scored 17 points and were key to the Knicks staying close to the Magic. The Knicks are hitting a tough stretch where every game counts. The Knicks will face the Bucks on Friday and are looking to get a win.
