The New York Knicks have decided to pick up the $14.2 million contract option on point guard Chauncey Billups. This move will lock Billups up for the 2011-12 season.
Billups played really well with the Knicks in the short time he played, but he will be a huge difference maker come next season when the team will really gel together. He has excellent leadership skills and is a nice scoring option as well. The Knicks made a smart move in bringing back “Mr. Big Shot”.
