Bulls beat Knicks 103-90

The Chicago Bulls came into Madison Square Garden to face the red hot New York Knicks. The Knicks came into the night on a 7 game winning streak and were looking to stretch it to 8 games. The Bulls are atop the Eastern Conference and are looking to capture the number one spot in NBA. Derrick Rose is the most talked about player since the All-Star break. He would have a great game as he scored 26 points and dished out 3 assists. He is playing at a high level and is carrying his team to victories. Carlos Boozer had a nice game as he scored 14 points and grabbed a season-high 22 rebounds. He had an amazing game on the boards and gave his team great opportunities to keep the Knicks from winning the game. The Bulls are going to be a tough team to beat in the playoffs simply because they do everything well.

The Knicks were without Amar’e Stoudemire for the third consecutive game due to a sprained ankle. He will also miss the final regular season game tomorrow against the Boston Celtics. The Knicks were happy with the effort of Carmelo Anthony who scored a team-high 21 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. He only played 32 minutes in limited playing time. The Knicks had nothing to lose in the game and looked to rest their starters when they could. Bill Walker scored 18 points off the bench. He played really well in getting the Knicks back in the game after they trailed by 18 points. He is going to be a key for the Knicks during their playoff run.

The Knicks will play the Boston Celtics in Boston to close out the regular season.
