Breaking News; David Wright to the DL

The Mets announced today that they will place David Wright on the Disabled List tomorrow. Wright is out with a stress fracture in his lower back.

Adam Rubin said via Twitter: "Nick Evans is at Citi Field, although the #Mets have yet to officially place David Wright on DL. Not that anything otherwise expected."

Wright was batting .226 with 6 homeruns and 18 RBI’s this season. Hopefully he can comeback and help the Mets in every way.
