The Mets have sent Chin-lung Hu and Ryota Igarashi to Triple-A Buffalo and recalled Ruben Tejada and Pedro Beato. Hu and Igarashi have struggled this season and haven’t done enough to stay with the team.
Sandy Alderson said that in the event that David Wright ends up on the Disabled List the Mets will call up Nick Evans to play third base.
