The Mets will finish up their series against the Cubs today at 2:20 PM. The Mets are coming off a 7 inning game that they would win 7-4. Dillon Gee captured his first career complete game.
Today, R.A. Dickey will get the ball for the Mets. Dickey is coming off his best performance of the season when he pitched a four hit one run game against the Yankees. He was able to get his knuckleball in for strikes and was able to strike out six Yankee batters.
Carlos Zambrano hasn’t pitched that great this season. He has a 4-2 record with a 4.88 ERA. Zambrano has given up many runs in most of his starts. The Mets have to be aware that he can swing the bat and get runs for himself.
