The New York Mets will play the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field tonight at 8:40 PM. The Mets are coming off a 1-2 lost to the Rockies in which the Mets offense was silenced by good Rockies pitching. The Mets tonight will bring Mike Pelfrey to mound to face a tough Rockies offense. Pelfrey will face Jason Hammel of the Rockies who is 3-1 on the young season.
Ronny Paulino will do the catching tonight for Mike Pelfrey. The two worked well in Pelfrey’s last start as they pounded the ball inside and didn’t allow many runs. This might be something the Mets may want to continue if Pelfrey has success tonight.
