Pre-Game: Mets vs. Yankees 7:10 PM

The New York Mets will play their second game of a three game series against the Yankees tonight. The Mets won last night behind an outstanding performance from R.A. Dickey. The Mets received another RBI from Justin Turner who now has six RBI’s in the Mets last six games tying a Mets rookie record. He has become a consistent force for the Mets since they called him up.

Chris Capuano will start for the Mets as he tries to continue his success from his last start. Capuano faced the Astros in his last start and went five innings allowing six hits on two runs. He did get the win and struck out six batters. He has to pitch under control and not allow the Yankees hit any of his pitches out of the ball park.

A.J. Burnett is coming off his worst outing of the season as he gave up a season high six earned runs against the Tampa Bay Rays. He has a 4-3 record with a 3.99 earn run average. He hasn’t pitched badly in his starts, but most of the time the Yankee batters can’t get him any run support.
