Kurt Thomas back to NY?
According to sources the Knicks will plan on making an offer to free agent Kurt Thomas. The Knicks are looking for a quality veteran to help their younger players develop on both sides of the court. Thomas is a great player who is not the fastest guy, but he knows the game and can play well. The Knicks previously signed Thomas in 1999. Thomas would play in NY until 2005 when the Knicks sent him to Phoenix for Quentin Richardson and Nate Robinson. Now 38 yrs-old Thomas is looking to play possibly one more year and is looking to either come back to New York, stay in Chicago or get an offer from the Dallas Mavericks.
