The New York Mets will finish up their three game series against the Texas Rangers today at 3:05 PM. The Mets are looking for a series win against a tough team. The Mets will try to bring the same offense into this game as they try to get to .500 again.
Dillon Gee will start for the Mets trying to stop his losing streak at one game. In his last start Gee wasn’t sharp and thus lost his first game of the season. The Mets are hoping that Gee can get his game back to help this team get some well needed wins. Gee has been a great addition to the Mets rotation as he continues to prove his worth.
Derek Holland will oppose Gee as he looks to continue his excellent season. Holland is 6-2 with a 4.69 ERA. The Mets will need to get runs tonight if they have a chance at beating this tough team.
Jason Bay and Justin Turner return to the lineup after sitting because of minor injuries. Bay sat because of a stiff neck and Turner didn’t play because of his thumb injury. The Mets will be hoping for a win tonight to push them back to .500.
