The Mets have sent Francisco Rodriguez and cash considerations to the Milwaukee Brewers for two players. The two players will be named later. After months of speculation the Mets have finally traded away their closer. Rodriguez made it known that he was open to a trade. He also made a change with his agent as he hired Scott Boras. This move will give the Mets an excellent financial relief. Rodriguez had 23 saves with the Mets this season.
The Mets will probably give Bobby Parnell a shot at closing for a while. Or they may let Jason Isringhausen close some games. This move will only help the financial status of the Mets and better fix their money problems.
