Breaking News; Jose Reyes to the DL

Jose Reyes’ doctors have told him that he will be out three weeks. This is terrible news for the Mets who were very concerned with Reyes and his injury. Possibly the National League MVP right now Reyes will be out for the next three weeks. Reyes suffered the injury on Sunday while running to first on an infield single.

The Mets will place Jose Reyes on the disabled list according to Brian Costa of the Wall Street Journal. The Mets will make an official announcement before the game.

The Mets officially announced that Jose Reyes was placed on the disabled list retro active to July 3rd. The Mets called up Nick Evans to fill Reyes’ roster spot.
