The Mets will keep Jason Isringhausen for the rest of the season. Jon Heyman first reported that the Mets will keep Isringhausen to mentor Bobby Parnell. This is great news for Met fans who like Izzy and want to see him stay. Earlier last month their were numerous reports stating that the Mets were open to trading Izzy, but after the Mets mover K-Rod they decided to keep Izzy.
