Pre-Game: Mets vs. Giants 9:05 PM

The New York Mets will face the San Francisco Giants tonight at AT&T Park. The Mets are coming off great win last night in which they were able to get a homerun from Scott Hairston off Brian Wilson. The Mets would eventually win 5-2 as Francisco Rodriguez notched his 23rd save of the season. The Mets are continuing to win despite their injuries and distractions. They continue to fight after getting down in a game and are scoring with power now. The Mets will need to keep hitting tonight as they go up against a tough pitcher.

Chris Capuano will start for the Mets as he goes for his ninth win of the season. Capuano is riding a three game winning streak and continues to be one of the Mets best productive pitchers this season. He will go up against a Giants team that struggles to produce runs at home. His last start he gave up two runs over six innings. The Mets will need that from him tonight if they have any chance at winning the game.

Tim Lincecum is going to the mound for the Giants as he looks to snap out of a season slump. Lincecum has only six wins on the season and will try to get his record to .500 tonight. The Mets will need to get their offense going against a very tough pitcher.
