Pre-Game: Mets vs. Red 12:35 PM

The New York Mets will be going for a four game sweep of the Cincinnati Reds this afternoon. The Mets offense has been on fire over these three games. They have put pressure on the Reds to get a win today otherwise they will continue to fall out of the playoff race. The Mets will have to keep winning in order to stay close in the Wild Card race. Lucas Duda hit a homerun in his new spot in the lineup. Terry Collins told reporters yesterday that Duda would be the everyday right fielder now that Beltran is gone.
Chris Capuano will start for the Mets looking to continue the Mets nice run. Capuano has struggled over his last three starts as he has lost all three of them after winning three straight starts. The Mets need him to give a great start tonight to keep them on their winning ways. If the Mets get a win tonight it will bring them three games over .500 and keep them alive to make the playoffs.
Homer Bailey will try to stop the Met hitters as he pitches for the Reds. Bailey has won his last two starts and he will be trying to stop this Met offense. He has been up in down this season as his record sits at 5-4 with a ERA of 3.67. His pitches have been on point over his last two starts and he has given up just three runs over that stretch. The Mets have the ability to pick up a rare four game sweep on the road and if they accomplish this they will be on their way.
