Breaking News; Jose Reyes placed on DL

The Mets have placed All-Star shortstop Jose Reyes on the 15-day disabled list. Reyes is experiencing a tight left hamstring in which he also injured earlier in the season. Reyes missed 15 games over that stretch and will be missed by this depleted Mets offense. The Mets will now have to figure out what they are going to do without their star shortstop for a couple of weeks. Reyes will be missed for this stretch were the Mets could use him.
