Nick Evans is on fire from the plate and is putting together his best effort to get a spot on this team for next season. Evans in his last 14 days is hitting .356 with eight RBI’s and two homeruns. He is becoming a consistent force for the Mets and is giving them a spark. He is defiantly on my list of Mets to keep for next season. His play at first base can not be overlooked because he has made some excellent defensive plays there. He is showing the Mets that he can help this team and bring something extra to the team. And that is the ability to play more than one position. Evans has to be a part of this team next season.
