At the Half: Patriots 17, Raiders 10

The Patriots lost two players in the first half in Kyle Love and Jerod Mayo. The injuries continue to mount on the Patriots and they suffered another injury to their defensive line. Gerard Warren came in to fill Love’s position and Gary Guyton filled Mayo’s spot.

The offense for the Patriots is doing well and moving the ball easily down the field. The concern for the Patriots is their defense and they are really struggling, but a late interception by Patrick Chung protected the Patriots lead. Now the Patriots go into the half leading and are in a position to win the game.

Tom Brady has 121 yards on 8 of 17 passing with a touchdown to Wes Welker.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis had a 1 yard run for a touchdown in the second quarter.

In the second half the Patriots defense needs to tighten up and protect the lead. If not the Patriots could be in danger of losing back to back games.
