The Patriots welcomed back to practice three key players in Aaron Hernandez (knee), Albert Hansworth (back), and Mike Wright (concussion). This is a huge step in the right direction for the Patriots this week. They gain two defensive lineman back and welcome back a top tier tight end in Hernandez. Now the Patriots have to be more comfortable with their defense who now may possess a pass rush.
In other injury news, the Patriots were without Julian Edelman (ankle), Danny Woodhead (ankle), Jerod Mayo (knee), Sebastian Vollmer (back) in today’s practice.
