The New England Patriots will play the Oakland Raiders this after noon. The Patriots are coming off a week 3 lost to the Buffalo Bills. Tom Brady threw four interceptions in a game the Patriots were supposed to win. In order for the Patriots to win today they will need to play great defense and stay away from errors.
The Patriots will be without the following players due to injury: Albert Hansworth (back), Mike Wright (concussion), Sebastian Vollmer (back), Leigh Bodden (groin), Ras-I Dowling (hip), and Aaron Hernandez (knee).
The key for this afternoons game is stopping the running game of the Raiders. They have the best running game by any team this season. Darren McFadden is running at his best and is proving that he will be a great running back in the league. Also, the Patriots defense has to protect their offense they can not allow the Raiders to keep scoring. This defense hasn’t proved them selves this season and in the Patriots wins the defense has given up many runs.
This game will be a test for the Patriots defense and whether or not they can stop the Raiders from running wild. That is the main concern for the Patriots this season and they have to get out their and prove that they can stop the other team from scoring.
