The New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick stated that the team would be activating OL Marcus Cannon to the active roster before the 4 p.m. Tuesday deadline. Cannon returned to practice three weeks ago after he was taken off the non-football injury list. Cannon was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma prior to being drafted by the Patriots. These last three weeks Cannon has been working on regaining his strength and working hard to playing for the Patriots. Cannon is in full remission and hopes to get on the playing field soon.
