The New England Patriots held a practice session today in preparation for their game on Monday against the Chiefs. Brandon Spikes (knee), Devin McCourty (shoulder), Dane Fletcher (thumb), and Jeff Tarpinian were all absent from the practice field today. Tarpinian started for the first time in his career Sunday against the Jets. The team hasn’t said if Tarpinian’s absence was injury related, but the injury report scheduled to be released at 4 p.m. today should give more insight to his absence.
