The New England Patriots announced that they have placed LB Jeff Tarpinian on the injured reserve. It is said that Tarpinian has a head injury, but a type of head injury was never announced. In addition to that roster move the Patriots have re-signed WR Tiquan Underwood to the 53-man roster.
The Patriots also re-signed S Ross Ventrone and have released DB Josh Victorian.
