Cavaliers use amnesty on Baron Davis
The Cleveland Cavaliers have used their amnesty provision on point guard Baron Davis. This is according to Alex Kennedy of Hoops World. It has been speculation since the lockout was over that the Cavs would use the clause. Now teams under the cap will bid on Davis, who does have a herniated disc in his lower back. It is also being reported that Davis, if unclaimed will make a push to join the Knicks. Both have mutual interest and the Knicks would try to get Davis if he is unclaimed. There will also be a bunch of contenders looking to get Davis because he is still great at his position.
