Today the New England Patriots will host the Miami Dolphins at Gillette Stadium. The Patriots are currently riding a six game winning streak and are looking to get win number seven with a win today. Last week the Patriots were able to get another division title as they beat the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets lost. The Patriots are in the playoffs, but the last two games are needed wins if they want a first round bye or home field advantage.
Today the Patriots will take on a surging Dolphins team who has looked better for the last month. They are getting excellent production out of Reggie Bush and Matt Moore. Both are producing for their team and are playing very well. The Patriots defense has to play better today in order for them to have any success in winning this game.
Offensively the Patriots have to come out and score the ball and give the Dolphins little hope in winning this game. Tom Brady will hope to have the same kind of performance he had on opening day when he threw for 517 yards with four touchdowns. The Patriots have struggled through the middle part of their season, but they find a way to win.
Lastly, the Patriots might have Patrick Chung back in the lineup for the first time in six games. Chung sounded as if he was ready to get back on the field when he addressed reporters after practice yesterday. He has been missed in the secondary, but the team has done well without him.
Prediction:
Patriots win 38-14 behind another huge performance from Tom Brady.
