The New England Patriots held their third practice of the week with Aaron Hernandez and BenJarvus Green-Ellis both returning to practice. Hernandez missed practice yesterday, but it had nothing to do with an injury. But Green-Ellis missed practice with an illness.
The players absent were Brandon Spikes (knee) and Sebastian Vollmer (back/ankle). A full injury report will be released at 4 p.m. today.
