Halftime: Patriots 27, Broncos 16

The New England Patriots are currently leading the Denver Broncos at halftime. The Patriots fell behind early when the Broncos were able to get a touchdown on their opening drive. But the Patriots were able to get a touchdown from Tom Brady to Chad Ochocinco giving the Patriots a 7-6 lead. The Broncos would then go up by nine before the Patriots made a scoring run in the second quarter. Aaron Hernandez was the recipient of a touchdown pass from Brady which put the Patriots behind the Broncos by two. A field goal and a touchdown run by Brady gave the Patriots a 24-16 lead. Stephan Gostkowski would get a late field goal to give the Patriots a 27-16 lead at halftime.

Also, Patriots defensive linemen Andre Carter was carted off the field with a left leg injury and will not return. This is a major blow to the Patriots defensive line who has depended on Carter to get the job done.
