The NBA has announced that the New York Knicks will host the Boston Celtics on Christmas Day at noon on TNT. It has been speculation for about a week and now it is official. Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and Rajon Rondo will look to stop Carmelo Anthony, Amar'e Stoudemire, and Chauncey Billups. This is a rematch of last years playoff matchup in which the Celtics swept the Knicks 4-0 in a best of seven series.
This is going to be a fantastic game especially since it will be the first game of the regular season. I expect the Celtics to play hard and try to stop the Knicks from getting the early lead in the division race.
