Around the NBA: 1/30/2012

The NBA had 9 games on Monday night including a late night showdown between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Los Angeles Clippers. Blake Griffin dunked on Kendrick Perkins which is already being proclaimed as the “dunk of the year”. That game was very good for the ClippersKevin Durant who beat the best team in the West this season.

Now for the top performers of the night. In third was the play of Chris Paul who scored 26 points and dished out 14 assists in a win over the Thunder. Paul played very well and hit some shots late in the game to keep the Thunder from rallying. Moving on to second place was the play of Derrick Rose who scored 35 points and dished out 8 assists in a win over the Wizards. And in first was the play of Kevin Durant who scored 36 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in a lost to the Clippers.
