Game-Day: Bills vs. Patriots 1:00 PM

image

Today the New England Patriots will play the Buffalo Bills at Gillette Stadium. This is a really important game for the Patriots because if they win they will clinch the best record in the AFC. They would also clinch home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs. The Patriots will be looking for revenge after their week 3 lost to the Bills. In that game the Patriots led by 21 points, but allowed the Bills to comeback and win the game.

Tom Brady struggled in that game when he threw four interceptions. This time around Brady will try to dominate the game from the first snap. Brady needs to come out and dominate and get the offense on a nice start. In the last four games the Patriots have struggled to come out the gat strong. They have fallen behind and have had to comeback and win games. If the offense can come out and score the ball on the opening drive, it will take some pressure off the defense.

The defense for the Patriots have had their struggles, but when the game is on the line they have been able to get stops. The success of the Patriots relies on the defense because when they get stops it gives Tom Brady the opportunity to lead the offense down the field. Winning the game today needs to be a priority.

Under no circumstances should the Patriots think today’s game is going to be easy. The Bills are looking to make it difficult for the Patriots and win against them again. A win today will give the Patriots an eight game winning streak.

Prediction:

The Patriots will win this game 42-14.

Happy New Year!
