Halftime Report: Broncos 7, Patriots 35

The New England Patriots were ready for this game tonight they came out wanting to get this win. Tom Brady was a man wanting to get his team going as he led them down the field for 5 plays lasting just 1:51. Tom Brady found Wes Welker for a 7 yard touchdown pass to give the Patriots a 7-0 lead. The Patriots looked comfortable and ready to get this win. Then they wanted more and Tom Brady found Rob Gronkowski for a 10 yard touchdown. The Patriots quickly were up by 14 points in the first quarter and were hoping to keep their lead.

The Broncos scored a touchdown on a Willis Mcgahee 5 yard touchdown run. The Broncos were within 7 and were trying to keep this game close. But the Patriots would score on a 8 play drive when Tom Brady found Rob Gronkowski for a 12 yard touchdown. The Patriots were in control yet again as they led by 21-7. This game was then broke open as Tom Brady found Deion Branch for a 61 yard touchdown that sent the game score to 28-7 in favor of the Patriots. Then as the second quarter was ending Tom Brady found Rob Gronkowski for a 19 yard touchdown.

So far the Patriots have played the way they have wanted  to play. The defense for the Patriots has played very well and each time the Broncos ran the ball the Patriots had multiple guys after the ball.

The Tom Brady set a NFL record for 5 touchdowns in the first half of a playoff game. Also, Rob Gronkowski tied a NFL record with 3 touchdowns by a tight end in a playoff game. The Patriots went into the half leading 35-7.
