Knicks lose sixth straight 119-114

The Knicks lost yet another game tonight against the Denver Nuggets. They came out wanting to win this game. Carmelo Anthony struggled early and often and never was able to find the range in the first three quarters. But late in the fourth and in the two overtimes Anthony was able to get his shots. This took the team environment away and Anthony was just shooting every time down.

The Knicks have to find out what the issue is with this team. As the game went on in the 2nd quarter the Knicks ran the offense more smooth and looked confortable. But once Carmelo Anthony was put into the game it seemed as if everyone on the team was just watching him. Anthony has to figure out a way to incorporate his teammates more often and run some plays with Stoudemire.

Tonight’s lost is very heartbreaking for the simple fact that they lost again at home. Everyone on that team has to look at themselves and make improvements. And it starts with the coach going all the way down to the players.

On the plus side the bench contributed 33 points tonight starting with Bill Walker’s 15 points. The Knicks will now travel to Charlotte to face the Bobcats on Tuesday. The Knicks need to regroup and reevaluate their game and effort.
