The New England Patriots have hired former offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels to the same position to replace Bill O’Brien. McDaniels will begin his job immediately and will be with the team next season. McRoberts first task is preparing the offense for the Broncos. McDaniels left the Patriots for a the Broncos and now finds himself coaching against his former team.
