The New York Knicks will be without Carmelo Anthony and Bill Walker today. Anthony is out with a groin strain and Walker is out with an elbow injury. But the Knicks will dress Baron Davis and JR Smith today against the Mavericks. Also, Iman Shumpert will start at the three in place of Walker.
Davis isn’t expected to play today, but he could see minutes in garbage time. Smith is more likely to play simply because the Knicks will need him off the bench because of Shumpert starting.
