The New England Patriots faced the New York Giants in this years Super Bowl. The Giants came out with intensity that seemed too overwhelm the Patriots on both sides of the ball. The Giants came out quick and put pressure on the Patriots from the onset. A score of 9-0 in favor of the Giants after the first quarter.
Then in the second quarter the Patriots scored on a field goal and a touchdown. They took the lead in the second quarter for the first time in the game. As they closed out the second quarter the Patriots looked in rhythm and ready to put this game away.
The second half started with the Patriots driving the ball down the field for a touchdown. This touchdown gave the Patriots a 17-9 lead. But the Giants would stand tough and comeback into this game. They were able to take the lead late in the fourth quarter that would never be relinquished. The Giants were able to get to Tom Brady late in the game and forced him to hurry his throws. But if the Patriots would have made plays late in this game they would have won this game.
All and all this was a great game, but one team leaves unhappy while the other goes away with smiles.
Congratulations to the New York Giants!
