Lin powers Knicks past the Nets; 99-92

The New York Knicks were looking to get a win against a division foe in the New Jersey Nets. This game started off really bad for the Knicks as they fell behind by 12 points. But they soon came back into the game and were able to take the lead time and time again.

The story of the game came when Jeremy Lin came Jeremy Lininto the game. Lin would have a career night as he scored a career high 25 points. Lin also had career high’s with 7 assists and 5 rebounds. He played really well for the Knicks and was the key part in their comeback win. He used his quickness to his advantage to create shots and or look for his teammates. This was a very exciting game for Lin who was the spark that the Knicks were lacking.

Carmelo Anthony had just 11 points, but was able to still help the team in other areas. Tyson Chandler and Amare Stoudemire both had 17 points in this win. The three stars weren’t perfect tonight, but the bench was able to get their game going with the help of Jared Jeffries who scored 9 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. This game tonight was a team effort and that was the key a “team” effort.

The Nets Deron Williams scored 21 points and dished out 11 assists. Kris Humphries scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. The Nets really made this game though on the Knicks, but late in the game they weren’t able to hit any shots.

The Knicks will now focus their attention on the Utah Jazz who they face on Monday night.
