Pre-Game: Knicks vs. Timberwolves 8:00 PM

The New York Knicks will face the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight for the first time this season. The Knicks are hoping that Jeremy Lin can give them one more game before the return of Amare Stoudemire on Tuesday. Lin has given the Knicks big game after big game and is looking like the solution to their point guard problems.

Tonight Knicks will have to take on a very tough Minnesota team. Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio are leading the T-Wolves to victories over great teams and are looking dominant  against the terrible teams. The Knicks have their work cut out tonight, but the way they have been playing anything is possible.

Tyson Chandler will not be going up against any top tier center tonight so expect Chandler to score more tonight. Last night the Lakers did a nice job in limiting Chandler’s production as Chandler was only able to score 9 points in a very physical game. Chandler did grab 11 rebounds and continues to be the “glass eater” the Knicks need.

Landry Fields and Bill Walker struggled last night, but expect these two to come out strong tonight. Walker has missed open shots over the last week and tonight is the night the Knicks need him to hit some shots. Fields on the other hand has played very well over the last couple of weeks. Tonight Fields needs to get to the hoop and get some quick baskets. He is very key tonight at that shooting guard position simply because he will be going up against point guards in Luke Ridnour and at times Ricky Rubio. Fields needs to lead the Knicks in this big game as they try to get their longest winning streak of the season which would be five games.

This game will be watched simply because of what Jeremy Lin has done over the last week. This game is the last game the Knicks will have to play without one of their stars. They should come out looking to get this win and prove that they can win without their stars. This game can be watched locally on MSG at 8:00 PM with the Pre-Game at 7:30 PM. Let’s go Knicks!
