Today the Mets will play the Miami Marlins in their fifth spring training game of the season. Originally Andres Torres was supposed to be leading off, but hip tightness will keep him out. Torres doesn't seem overly worried about this injury. The Mets replaced Torres with Kirk Nieuwenhuis in center field.
Mets Lineup:
Kirk Nieuwenhuis CF, Justin Turner 3B, Jason Bay LF, Ike Davis DH, Lucas May C, Mike Baxter RF, Adam Loewen 1B, Ronny Cedeno 2B, Omar Quintanilla SS
Mike Pelfrey will start for the Mets.
