Anthony will play; Lin out

The Knicks have updated Carmelo Anthony from questionable to probable for tonight’s game against the Orlando Magic. Anthony strained his groin in the third quarter of Monday’s game against the Bucks. He will have to be healthy in order for the Knicks to make any kind of playoff run.

Jeremy Lin will miss his second consecutive game with a sore left knee. Lin was injured when the Knicks beat the Pistons on Saturday night. It is unclear at this time of when Lin may return, but he still remains day to day. With Lin out Baron Davis will have to play an increased amount of minutes. Davis is said to still be having hamstring issues, but will play through the pain. Expect Toney Douglas and or Mike Bibby to see an increase in minutes simply because Davis can not play over 34 minutes.
